Is 9jaRoboCon only for robotics?

No. It has other options: animation, coding, game, development, AI, Blochain, etc.

Can I participate individually?

Yes. There are individual categories.

Are foreign participants allowed to participate?

Yes. Foreign participants are allowed but must contact the team before enrolling.

Can I just participate for brand awareness/advertising?

Yes. The open category allows brands and the likes participate.

Is the event open to sponsors?

Will there be a physical event this year (2022)?

No. 9jaRoboCon will feature only the virtual playoffs this year, however, subsequently the event will be held onsite; the virtual playoffs will continue too. Check PhRoboCon also.

How many rounds can I enter my results?

2022 April Season Playoffs has 10 rounds. If you program your robot and wish not to submit that result but to program again and submit another results, you always do that. You program uncountable times, but the only the results you submit would count. You’re free to always try out your hands.

The Season kicks off on April 1st. Must I start entering my results on the 1st of April?

No! The season runs for 30 days, you can choose to start any day before 29th April. You can choose to run one round each day or any how you choose. The last day 30th is the show day when all participants would connect together and run their last program before the judges and a live audience including your invited friends, parents, teachers and coaches.

I heard about the Opening Ceremony for The Robot Champions League. Can i know more?

Yes! Opening Ceremony is a beautiful virtual event you don’t want to miss. This season, we would have amazing speakers including Golden (Nigeria’s representative in World Robot Olympiad India 2016), Daniel Olukare (another competitor of World Robot Olympiad in India, 2016) currently in Cyprus, Daniel Kalio (STEM Professionals Project Director), Inyeni Showers (STEM Professionals Technology Director, Cape Town) and Priyanka Tuteja (Cogmation, Canada – STEM Professionals Partners). It is scheduled to hold on Thursday 7th April, 2022 by 19:00 GMT+1.
